In preparation of the Wabel Frozen Summit on March 26-27 and the Wabel Chilled & Dairy Summit on March 28-29 taking place in Paris, Wabel organized a live webinar with Casino's purchasing management on the 10th of January to discuss their projects for 2018 in the frozen, chilled and dairy categories.

Being the 4th retailer in France and the 20th worldwide, Casino is one of the world's foremost food retailers with a resounding €36 billion in consolidated net sales last year. The Group has more than 12,960 stores in French and international market. In France alone, Casino offer the largest portfolio of strong and specialized store brands: Géant (hypermarket), Monoprix and Casino Supermarché (premium urban supermarket chain), Franprix (premium urban convenience store), Le Petit Casino, Spar, Vival (convenience store) and Leader Price (soft discount), with AMC being the French purchasing office.

As a part of the Wabel Retail Insight Webinar series, the purchasing management of Casino explained to more than 250 connected manufacturers how they're organized, their quality and logistics requirements, as well as the products and trends they're looking for in frozen, chilled and dairy products. The webinar was concluded with an open Q&A session.
